Nothing like a little stash...

...to get that mojo flowing again. And when I say a little stash, what I mean is...yah, I went a little nuts. :P

I made my first ever trip to an LNS today! I hit the Lazy Daizy in Raleigh this afternoon and wow! How cool it is to have an entire store dedicated to stitching instead of a teeny aisle stocked with cheese.

I picked up a few charts - most of which were on sale and nice and small. I picked up a whole bunch (for me) of WDW and Sampler fibers that I'm totally in love with! I can't wait to dig into something new.

I've also made a bit of progress on my Dad's piece. I've stopped referring to it as my BAP, because it's not actually all that big ass compared to many of you ladies' projects!!

If it's the biggest project that you have ever stitched, then it's a BAP! I have them, I just never stitch on them. Oh, the lure of the small and easily finished!

Yes, LNSes are mesmerizing. There is so much there, you could take almost ALL of it home, but shouldn't and don't. That's why I have been taking pictures of the ones I find in my travels. I'm so glad there are a few left.

You picked up some great charts, I recognize a few from my stash. Stash shopiing IS the greatest way to get some stitching mojo back!

Aren't LNS's great? I see two charts there that are already in my stash the Dragon Dreams one and the JBW heart ... just recently bought that one myself!

Your Dad's piece is coming along nicely.

That's a nice haul there! I love going to LNSs, it's like christmas. I agree with Katheryn, if it's the biggest stitch you've got, it's a BAP! I've got a four page chart due to start in my rotation soon, and that'll be a BAP for me. :)

Great stash haul. I don't have a LNS so you are so lucky! Maybe its a good thing i don't mind you...my bank balance would suffer!
Love the WIP, you are making good progress

You've made a nice bit of progress on your dad's piece, and your stash is great. What fun projects you picked up, and the floss is lovely. I love going to a real LNS. It is such fun to really see all the stuff, see finished shop models, enjoy the different fabrics and flosses, nothing quite like it.

Jennifer, seeing your new stash makes me realize that taking pix of my new stash may be just the trick it takes to get my MoJo back.

Visiting your blog was so much fun, and you'll be pleased to know that from what you've stitched so far, I was able to pick out the design for your Dad from the Solaria site. Hey, now that's progress, and the stitching and colors are LOVELY! And it's a big- assed enough one for moi!

I was at the Lazy Daisy during an adventure last month. I stashed there very, very, very well. :) It really is nice to have a store all about what you do, isn't it. did you know they also do Monday night stitch-ins? You should check them out, I hear they are darn fun!

Congrats on the cool stash!
